The Company's Establishment And Development History

Established in early 2009 under the name Vu Phong Solar JSC (Vu Phong Solar), Vu Phong Energy Group has grown to become a market leader in the field of renewable energy, with numerous customers – partners that include reputable domestic and international businesses and organizations.

2022

Becoming Vietnam’s leading professional solar power developer while maintaining the position as a provider of complete technical services for renewable energy projects.
Vu Phong Tech Renewable Energy R&D Manufacturing Center is being built.

2021: Expanding the renewable energy ecosystem

The company name was changed to Vu Phong Energy Group JSC
After three years of successful research, production, and testing, Vu Phong Tech’s solar panel cleaning robot has been commercialized.
Developing a renewable energy ecosystem with a variety of new business segments, including wind power O&M services, Renewable Energy Asset Management (RE Asset Management), Mini SCADA systems for mini-farms and rooftop solar power projects, industrial UPS solutions, and ESS (Energy Storage); supply a wide range of high and medium-voltage transmission equipment…

2020: PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) solution delivery

Collaborate with domestic and international investment funds to develop PPA models for industrial factories and commercial buildings’ rooftop solar energy systems. Has installed over 50 MWp of solar energy using the PPA model.
Continue to build, operate, and maintain (O&M) numerous large-scale solar power plants. Operating the BIM 2 power plant (250 MWp) at the highest possible efficiency – up to 99.99 percent availability – and receiving the expanded BIM 2 power plant (250+75 MWp).
Invest in Construction Joint Stock Company 47 and become a strategic shareholder (HOSE: C47)

2018-2019: Construction of a series of solar power projects

Participating in the building of a number of large-scale solar power plants, including Dau Tieng (420MWp), Hong Phong (325MWp), BIM 2 (250MWp), and others…
EPC general contractor for hundreds of rooftop solar energy projects of varying sizes, employing more than 500 people.

2017: Expanding with numerous large-scale projects

Winning bids for numerous Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) projects; implementing large-scale projects for companies affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in factories, islands, and archipelagos such as Truong Sa, Con Dao…
For the first time in Vietnam, implement solar cell projects to replace BIPV and Commercial Grid-PV-Diesel construction materials.

2010 - 2016: The first products and projects were released.

Research, develop, and commercialize solar energy products under the SolarV brand.
In 2013: Began constructing on-grid solar energy systems.
Since 2016, we’ve been expanding our presence in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City… Solar SolarV products are exported to international markets such as Myanmar, Cambodia, the United States of America, and Sweden.
